Nope....I'll go back next February, and stay until may. I'll definitely hit it good next season. This year was my first time finding it.

GB, next trip is in June to another island to hunt ambergris and detect some late 1700s ruins. I'll be checking in on my friends who are trying to dig a supposedly very large treasure. So far everyone gets stopped by the government when they start digging. I've got a pretty busy summer planned and I'm ordering an equinox in the next couple days when my pay check clears. Wooo hooo I'm getting excited !!

Tom,

When I do the mayonnaise version I add diced sour pickles, capers, dijon mustard, onions, etc....

This gal is Italian descent so sour pickles is probably not something they're used to. Remember when in Rome do as the Romans do....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

ECS do you need some wart remover now?
In the 60's lived in the glades on the 2 lane road with the canal next to it. About a mile from payoleta (sp?) gas station.
Trust me, I washed up with a quickness.
In the Glades? Well you sure must have had your share of gator encounters.
Sometime in the '80's, I was driving to Gainesville on 441 (yes, that 441 from Petty's AMERICAN GIRL) and at Paynes Prairie on the grassy shoulder of the road was a 10 foot gator catching some rays with a family from Michigan three children walking up to this reptile and throwing popcorn at it.
I pulled onto the shoulder, got out of my Scout II, and attempted to educate them on gators and how they can outrun a person in a short distance, and that the kids needed to back off.
After explaining this, the Michigan father asked, " You mean that is not a tame alligator"?

OK, I will share this encounter with a 4" tree frog last night.
My backyard is landscaped as a Florida tropical "jungle", and it has frogs, anoles, black and king snakes and a myriad of insects, including a walking leaf.
Letting dogs out for their last call, I was sitting and the patio porch swing.
Above on the swings cross bar, was this tree frog, eyes wide and breathing as they do...
So I'm sitting there when the frog lets it bladder go directly on the left side of my face and jumps away to parts unknown.

Ahhh I see my attack frog made it... :)

Well done froggy woggy.

:P

Ok... earlier... I stated that Florida has all this wildlife etc etc... right ?

Welp.... driving along... I see this dog... as I approach... it becomes clearer and I realize its not a dog.

Coyote.

ON the SIDEWALK... standing there... just taking it all in... looked like a big smile on its face... then slowly struts off...

ON AN BUSY... REALL BUSY... 8 lane road.

Now... you tell me... in less than an hour from my statement... I saw that ... FIRST. heh :/

Even the animals want to retire here.
