Jim,

We just had a 2nd freezer delived a few weeks ago. Only 7 cubic feet but we'll be using it exclusively for fruits and veggies so it should help in storing extra garden produce for winter.

Since they're talking about a 2nd wave of the virus this coming fall better be safe than sorry if the food chain gets stressed out again.

QUOTE=pepperj;6549779]I went and bought a smaller freezer, $340 later. Lost 15lbs of meat.
3 yr old freezer shot.
Can't fix it, leak in the wall.
Oh well we're still on the wait list for the 25cu.ft. August 10th now.
The garbage they make today just pi$$es me off to no end.[/QUOTE]

Bill I still have nightmares over the families red current bush. Spider infested, it seemed we picked for hours, upon hours, things crawling on us.
Mind you the mixture of jams & jellies was second to none.
In yesterday's picking the lower left glass container has 663 berries in it.
I can't imagine how many red currents would fill a qrt container.

Good evening everyone!
Bill, I watched your 'Helium Beer' video, I've never laughed so much in 2 minutes in my life! :laughing9:

All I can say is that I hope we can import some from Germany to Canada.

Dave,

I always enjoy regalling the troops....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7: case in point on my last dental visit before the shutdown. I gave my dentist some kosher dill pickles I had fermented.

He told me he was Jewish(which I already knew) and he said he had very high standard for dill pickles.

Well he told me today they were the best dill pickles he ever ate....my comeback was I'm going to change my last name to add berg at the end.....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

I got these today for $60. The shell is a puzzler. It's 75 mm, and could be anything from Spanish American War, to WWII. Artillery, anti-tank or tank round. Not sure. It was free. The magazines were $20 a piece. These are very rare, German marked Sturmgewher magazines, marked MP44 and STG44. These could sell at the minimum for over $300, but up to $750.
