Chickens=Happiness ?

My neighbors roosters have stopped by for a visit under the bird feeder!
It has improved my state of mind considerably!
I'm going to get myself some chickens!
Hopefully they eat some of this plague of ticks!

I find that chickens make me happier, too. Of course mine are in a bucket.

Ticks are the main source of a possum's diet, according to the internet.

Between killing them (got tired of planting them - kill spot with .177 airgun is about the size of a nickle) and live trapping them (I'm afraid them folks down the road will figure out what I'm doing when I pull back in their woods) I've seen more possums on this 1/3 acre lot in town over the past 5 years than I saw living in the country in 20 years!

Hardly any ticks though.

I've been better, but I got over it. As one of my friends once told me, "gittin' old ain't for sissies!"

Just spending as much time with my camera as I can, enjoying the Almighty's handiwork. Man, there's nothing that compares to his paintbrush!!!

That's good to hear that you are staying positive.

Can you imagine a place without creation?
One that wasn't made for our wonder, joy and Happiness...
I can and I imagine Mars inhabitants will be homesick constantly.
That place isn't a part of our plan.. IMHO.
