Re: SISSY PAD......

I've been wondering about this "Sissy Pad" myself :dontknow:

Having been out digging in the Tar Pits (aka Trenchland) lately, I assumed that it is something to sit on to keep your okole out of the tar :sign13:

I was sure wishing I brought something like that myself! I ended up sitting on some newspaper in one hole and actually pulled up some grass and made a seat out of it in my second hole.......

However, my lucky "sissy pad" turned out to be a 5 gallon bucket. It was super comfortable to sit on, but once my hole got undermined I couldn't see what I was working on in the low layer :icon_scratch:

So, I was forced to repeatedly break down the roof of the hole to maintain a line of site - and that is where the Ahuimanu was hiding :hello2:

I'll have to ask my brother to bring that bucket on our next dig, it's got to be my lucky sissy pad!!! ;D

Re: SISSY PAD......

George Dewey (December 26, 1837 – January 16, 1917) was an admiral of the United States Navy. Many historians called him the "hero of Manila." He is best known for his victory (without the loss of a single life of his own forces due to combat; one man died of heat stroke) at the Battle of Manila Bay during the Spanish-American War. He was also the only person in the history of the United States to have attained the rank of Admiral of the Navy, the most senior rank in the United States Navy.

This is my take for 2010.
Only the gold. No silver in the photo's.
I had about 3 pounds of silver.
The hobby does pay well for sure. ;D
