Big Island finds

My son just returned from the Big Island, spent some time digging and found these. Left to right: Excelsior-acl, Property of Hilo Soda, S.Ikeda, Excelsior-abm, Diamond Head, and Laupahoehoe-acl. Nothing real old but something to bring back to Maui. I will post some of our other finds since we started digging earlier this year. He is 14 yrs. old and got into digging by coming across 808 Bottle Digger vids on you tube. I used to dig with my dad back in the 70's and now I dig with my son, pretty cool.

Thanks for the encouragement. We came across a spot last week with some evidence (broken bimal sodas) but only came away with a Pinkhams medicine. Mauidigger

Mauidigger - tell your son great finds and to keep digging. I've been trying to keep my son (15 yrs old)motivated with the hobby, but he is discouraged because he still hasn't found a Hutchinson.
