Being the weather was nice (sunny 50's and 60's) outside the past two Sundays, Tim and I headed out on roadtrips for a little relic hunting after church.

We went to the same area both times, although different spots. Other places in the area have netted many CW bullets and arrowheads.

These last 2 Sundays were no exceptions.

Last week, we ended up in a field where we dug mostly .58 caliber three ringers, the lone oddity was a Williams cleaner bullet. Tim has never found a Williams cleaner in 13 or so years of metal detecting, but he got his first on that day too. I also found a couple of arrowheads and fossils (not pictured) in the same field. Our small competition went to me last week.

However, Tim got his revenge yesterday with a pocket full of 44 caliber pistol bullets, a j-hook, spur and a couple of wheat pennies. I only got a fraction of bullets that Tim did, but I did get a 1889 Seated Liberty dime.

Enjoy the photos!
