Thanks for the kind words Burt, don't get them too often! I'm certain that I found another homesite on the way out from the this one. Saw a bunch of Apple trees and daffodils on a nice, flat piece of ground. Fired the detector back up and immediately received multiple iron targets. It was late so I didn't bother digging the iron but did dig two "above iron" targets, one of which was a one inch square piece of lead and the other was a brass piece with a small hinge on it. At first glance, it looked like an oil lamp or furnace piece but that hinge makes me wonder.....

Nice digs. I have a buckle just like the brass one, but broken. Haven't seen anything like the aluminum one though. Happy Swingin.

Maybe a toy of some sort from the 50's or 60's.

Found some lead today, that's about it. Was hoping for a coin or two. Hey, still happy!
