Little saw

Hello

First time poster... dug this little saw today in north central Worcester county, about 6 - 8 inches down in an area that is a mix of field and woods. Any ideas what it might be and the age of item? And suggesting for how to clean or if I should clean at all?

Any help appreciated for a newbie, thanks!

Curry comb piece (for a horse) or perhaps an old piece of a hacksaw blade. Hard to tell.

Thanks for the replies. I think you are right that it is part of a curry comb. Never heard of those before but after some research this seems to fit the description. Thanks for the help on this!
