Always liked this boy scout find. I found another one of these but without the date on the bottom. I also have two silver boy scout rings plus other boy scout stuff.

Upon doing research, these tokens were given out with the "official boy scout shoes" by the company that is written on the token. Ya learn a lot of things in this hobby. History being #1.

Yup, keep them coming, is right. That old Boy Scout stuff is interresting to me as I was a scout, then in the Explorers
what seems like ages ago. I have a lot of great memories from my days in the Boy Scouts.

Nice find. I found one just like it. It was one of many companies that tried to profit from the popularity of the Boy Scouts. I found a Michigan Forest Scouts badge a couple of years ago. It was the only boys organization that was recognized by the Boy Scouts. I think that the forest scouts were mostly made up of Boy Scouts. I'll post a picture if I can get a good shot of it.
