dug a few keepers tnight just before dark, squeaked in some time while out running errands, but I've been dying to hit this spot got permission yesterday. The french coin is huge and cant quite make a date off of it. will be going back, HH **added: I did some research and found a couple like it going on ebay, not for much, but dated to be minted 1798-1799, this may be my oldest coin although foreign.

Wow! Congrats on that coin. Those are some unique finds. Love that Seton medal. That looks oooold also. She is a saint - hopefully that will bring you more good luck. Any idea what the wooden item in the top left hand corner is?

thanks, actually the thing that looks wood is lead I think, and not sure what it is. the thing on the top right though is heel plate for a baby shoe I think, and that has a little bit of leather with it.

Nice coinage pg! :icon_thumleft: Your Seton medal would likely be pre-1975 as she was canonized a saint in that year. Good luck when hitting that site again.

Keep digging!
