I managed to get me a 2 cent piece, clay marble, tootsie toy dragster, cap gun trigger, a couple old buttons and some change. I used peroxide on the 2 cent piece but there's mineral growths on it that just ain't coming off with peroxide, I'll put it in the olive oil and maybe that will cut it. I won't use electrolysis on a coin like that again cause it makes them look a lot worse than what they are, I use it on wheats a lot but they're a pretty common find and I'm not worried about any damage.

That 2 cent is nice. Your button looks like an 1830's -60's civilian type button. The Fine Quality backmark has been in use from the mid 1800's into at least the late 1900's.

Nice nab on the 2 center. Congrats. Yeah, under the crusty stuff if you get it off is usually not nice lookin. They are made outta the same stuff as indian heads so most of the time they come out of our Michigan soil looking pretty good.

Beauty of a 2 center Giant. Cool marble, too. I believe I found that same Tootsie Toy (in worse shape) this week.
