    Same lake, different beach, 2nd ring of the year

    This one had been hunted HARD! Very few signals but as I neared the end of the beach area a few deep tabs started to show up, then this 14K white gold band came up in the scoop.

    It's a very short hunt season so you have to time it right. Crocus rings pop just after the snow melts and don't last long.

    I'd take it any day of the week!!! I usually get suprised like that when I'm digging, but its usually a clad penny instead of a nail....
