get out and hit the thaw! one morgan and some clad!

well been out all day with my brother. hit the homestead and his old house yard both dating to the early 1900's his house even earlier. found mostly clad but a few good suprises. i dont have all the items found in pic but not pictured are a few misc items. a 1982 hotwheels car tht was my bros as a child and some clad etc plus an un identified piece of iron w bullet holes. as far as pictured a few copper clad pennies from the 70's and older what i believe to be a penny or older coin (far right) to corroded to identify and a silver morgan!!!!! not bad for some newbies on a half frozen day! im excited to see what others come up with through the warm season. happy hunting all!!!!!

thanks everyone! yeah it def got my blood pumping, Im hoping to get out some more this week, and Nice buck deer hunter! I shot a nice ten point with split g2's a few years back out here by capac. its cool to see so many people close by, well have to do some detecting together!

Very cool ! Sad state of affairs with our current crop of junk coins but the badly corroded and half gone coin you found is likely a modern Zinc cent. 50 years from now our kids & grandkids won't be finding the coins we lost. They will have all turned back into dirt.

very true, ive noticed that most new coins ive found are corroded to some point or another. whatever happend to coins actually being worth at least face value. not anymore! junk......
