Sorry about pictures my camera broke and now all I have is my phone Found this near a narrow gauge logging spur along with small spikes and plates (quarter is for size did not find here). kinda cool it is all steel and has what looks like leather on back side

I'm confused. looks like and is the right size for a belt buckle, but i don't think it is. Any one know? Happy hunting michiganders this site is a little slow this spring. Put down the rake and pick up detector!

Very neat relic but I have no idea what it is. I agree, post it on the "what is it?" forum here and someone should be able to ID it for you. Wish I had more time to MD, but life if crazy busy these days...

.......could swear that a post yesterday tentatively id' this as a (leather) drive belt connector ...post has vanished. But I like the idea
