Hello everyone!!! I am new to this app, an this hobby. So please be patient with me if I seem ignorant to certain things. I was also really hoping, someone could help me identify, this find I made today. I found this on an embankment on the saranac river in Plattsburgh NY. It is made of iron and has a lions head and a cross on it. The cross looks like an old German "Iron Cross". I have been trying to identify, for over 4 years. Hope someone sees this and can tell me more. Thanks.
