Muddy,
Fantastic collection Big Guy! I just finished drooling. :tongue3:
Any pictures of the "Privy Prostitute"? :icon_queen:
Nice collection of dog vaccine tags. What's the oldest year you've found so far?
Great post,
MM

I don't recall if I have any older ones in the safe, but one of the pictured ones that looks like a dog head is 1912. No pics of the 'lady', but unless you like dark, skinny and somewhat-bathed, I don't think you would enjoy the pics
No thanks. I remember her. She was too much for me to afford. :tongue3:

BINGO, I see you have met her too! Why didn't you call me when you were in town??? ;D

This was my best find in 2008! Cannonballs get the blood to rushing for any relic hunter and I found two in 2008!

1863 Springfield Type 1 Rifled Musket. Found in the bargain bin at the local gun store. It was apparently converted to shotgun duty at some point in the last 146 years. Still, the lockplate is a dated part and 1863 is a very good year!
I love it like Beyonce loves stretching notes.

Bryan I will be there in Oct. I will swing by the firehouse. We are still looking for a place don't know if we will buy or rent. Gonna stay away from base housing though.

My wife got me this GTI 1500 this past christmas of 2008.I started in january 2009. These are shots of things I found since, till now july 22,2009.First row is my coins(piece of eight 1730, 2 1reals1746,178-,2 irish half pennies 1682,178-,1 half dime 1853,1 large cent,1 two cent piece 1864,Ih 1908, 3or 4 coins too old to read mercs, wheats may be more not sure) buttons, buckles, pins, cuff links,a stone (I think is a saphire I found when I found a piece of eight, same whole) my best to me find is the 1750-1760 circa wine/rum bottle.Second row are musket balls, flint from flint lock, jew harps, and all sorts of neat objects.Third row tools etc.Fouth row marbles, old cow bell, insulators, etc.Other cabinet first row bottles two tusk (pig/boar).Second row indian artifacts, and pipe pieces both indian and settlers.Last row teeth from bison and horse!I Think I covered the basic stuff.Besides a half a 5gal bucket of scrap lead and the same in copper and brass!
