Some of those old Mexican coins will give you a 'Nitro" moment! There are some 100 and 500 peso ones that are gold colored and after seeing them about 6 or 8 inches deep, all coveered with dirt, it will get the heart all aflutter. Sunday we dug 57 of those old game and car wash tokens from the same house lot.

Haha yeah I found those Mexican coins in about 6 inches of dirt..and when I first uncovered them I was like wow I got something good just judging by the size of the coin. Definitely gave me a good excitement for my first time. I just need to find some old US coins now

Hey Bryan, can a person hunt that little creek area about a hundred yards north of the Mission south of town on 77? And I just looked at it on Google Earth and the bridge dips down into the water. The got their water from that creek and I bet, if it isn't inside the park area, that it would be a great place to detect. Looks like the state park boundaries are in the river/creek, so better not get on the north side with a detector. Wasn't the actual battle field northeast of the mission a ways? Like several miles?
