So I found this volleyball pit close to where I live and I've hit it twice already with a few clad coins as a reward. So I hit it again hoping to find some more clad to help pay my detector off and the 2nd signal of the day gives me a 92 VDI on my atp and out pops this marked .925 ring.

Good score on the silver ring.....the volleyball courts can give up some nice finds.

A few years back I dug a chunky 14k ring in the grass by along the edge of the court...might be worth checking out about a 6' strip all the way around the court.

I'll see if I can find a picture of it....might give you some incentive for future hunts.

Went to my local soccer park today. The other detectorist down here clean out the tot lots regularly. But I have managed to come up with other areas to hit. Got $1.93 today and 3 ear rings 1 of which is .925

Good score on the silver earring....when doing sports fields try dropping the sensitivity real low and check along the fence line...most people don't bother because of all the junk and interference from the fencing or possible overhead wires...but I've found quite a bit of clad as well as gold and silver jewelry using this method.

It's worth a shot.

It rang up 81, how could I not dig it! There's certain areas you can hit that produce the finds, and sometimes they are wiped clean. When we finally get together and hunt I will show you some more pointers of mine
