Fisher F2 Newbie First Finds

I purchased my Fisher F2 detector yesterday, I went out to do a few spot tests
to see how well it worked. I am impressed. I detected for about 1 hour, found 1 Roosevelt Dime 1989, 1 Jefferson Nickle 1982, 8 Lincoln pennys.
A couple of pull tabs, 1 broken pencil top, 1 small washer.

The detector seems to really sensitive. It does a fabulous job. It is light and very easy to operate. I love it.:happysmiley:

I ordered one for my Wife and it came in today. We played with it a little bit (8" and then the 4" coil) and found some type of bottle screw top and part of some type of can. If this weekend rain ever quits, we can get out for her to hunt and for me to test for gold.

I have a F5 & (2) Fisher F2's. I find myself using my F2's more. I just like the way it operates more.

Welcome to Tnet..JPG Karen, you are going to be addicted to a hobby that is not only fun but pays for itself. The F2 is a nice detector and under rated.

I recently picked an F2 up as a spare for my kids. I must say it's the most impressive detector in its class that I've ever used. I like it much better than the Coinmaster Pro, Ace 250/350, Compadre & any BH.

Enjoy!

I have mine now for a month and let me tell ya, its a great performer! This is my first detector (Though I have tried an Ace 250 which is good 2) but definitely like a heck more my F2! There ain't too many people in this hobby were I live (Better! There are more un-hunted places to go!!) and every time someone sees me detecting, they just have to ask: Son, what the hell are u doing? Lol!

Congrates on ur first machine u got a great one that will find u some good stuff & definetly will teach u the fundamentals, just read that manual, watch the online vids any help beleive me is only gonna benefit u to know what ur machine is telling u. Id also advize, into either getting or at least look into a decent pinpointer not only will cut down ur dig time, but also help prevent damaging that rare coin or small peice a jewlery. Well have fun & good luck

Showoff, haha!
That's a great haul!

They were all from my Camp, a sand volleyball court and near a pavilion where Bingo is played. I still have a ball field to hit.
It's addicting, I started with a Whites Coinmaster 6000Di , but it's way to heavy. I have found more with the F2.
