I have a Big Nel on a Fisher F2! Who knows how to calm coil that? Only give false signals only! and other tips I could use! Thanks a lot!

Not much to do but turn down sensitivity.

Is it a NEL coil labeled for the F2 specifically?

When is it acting up?
Does it ever settle down?

Need more symptoms....

Leave your cellphone at home or take the battery out. Leave your pinpointer in car. My Fishers go off five feet away from the Garrett pinpopinter I'm carrying with the pinpointer turned off.

Detectors usually don't go off on their own unless there is metal or interference coming from somewhere.

Wireless networks, cellphones, utility power, telephone lines, electric fences, invisible dog fences, cellphones, bluetooth, the list goes on and on...

Coil cable wrapped as shown in manual and secured properly to allow NO movement?

Does it act up with the stock coil?
