gb vs gb2

do not see much on the older gold bug, vs the gb2. was there that much improvement between them? thanks.....lobo dan

Having used both, I think so. The original Gold Bug ran at about 19kHz, and the GBII runs at 71kHz. While both can find extremely small pieces of gold, the GBII is deeper and more sensitive.
