Just bought a set of 9.6v, 230 mah Powerex batteries and a Maha 4 bay smart charger. $70 or so. Haven't wrung them out yet but will report after I get a few cycles on them.

In my experience, rechargeable batteries don't work well in CZ-21. Also when they die they just stop. Not great if your in the water.
