I was giving my f75 a quick test run after not using it for some time. I was swinging it over a penny, nickel, dime quarter, square nail, etc, and noticed it wasn’t picking up on the penny at all-as if it wasn’t there. I checked my coil connector and it was ok. So I figured I’d have to call for an RMA for a service check. Looking through the manual I saw the reset option to restore factory defaults. So I did the reset and then it seemed to begin working fine, so I assume the reset fixed some kind of glitch it had.
Anyone have anything like this happen to their machine?
If the problem recurs I will then get that service RMA.

Maybe you inadvertently notched some target ranges out and the reset killed all notched ranges. Just a thought...

I thought maybe I did that too cause I never use notch and would have to look up how to set it so I suppose I could’ve done that. Sort of like butt dialing the cell phone lol
