Don't know about the "city of gold", but I observed 2 HUGE Manatees in a cove near South Bay while fishing last October...

Sounds like a variation on Manson Valentine and L Frank Hudson's lost pyramids in the Everglades tale when they encountered the swamp ape.

Where would a city of gold come from? The native americans did not seem to have any gold, venerate gold, etc. They encountered gold from the spanish. It wouldn't make sense for the spanish to build a city of gold. The spanish were not very crazy about Florida, it was a bad assignment. They were more concerned about getting the gold, getting to cuba, and then getting back onto spain.

Don't know about a city of gold. But I sure would like to do some bass fishing there.

what setting would be best to not discriminate this city of gold. A pi is not gonna cut it, unless I start digging all large automobile signals. Gonna need a bigger scoop.
