Fun stuff to be found. Easy to ID clams, meg Teeth, petrified wood and seal and whale bone. This one is a mystery. Looks like a mammal tooth to me.

Sadly the good hunting has been done for at least 20 years there. The dark green clay that held most of the fossils is no longer prevalent. Forty years ago a visit to the spot almost always yielded nice shark teeth, whole crabs, and many other fossils. You did well for these times.
