Hey Friends,
First time poster here. Wondering if this is some kind of bivalve that was exposed to extreme heat or just a really cool formation? Thanks! ~Rory [emoji4]

Looks like a rock similar to chalcedony. I don’t see any hallmarks of it being fossilized. And I doubt a bivalve, at least the fleshy part, really would fossilize. It’s too delicate to handle the pressure.
