    Need help with 1800's chair

    Found this chair in a house from the 1870's that was donated to my fire company. It appears to be walnut to me and it is stuffed with horse hair.

    Nice looking chair. I agree it appears to be walnut; looks like it is Eastlake period, 1870-1890.
