I have some limited knowledge of marine paintings. I don't think it has much value, but I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time), I don't believe there's enough quality detail for a important marine painting. Still its a nice painting. I would have no problem displaying it.

The secon paintings' signature looks like H. Nelson Is that a coinsidence?

It is signed h. Nelson. Not sure on the coincidence though....

Thanks! I can't confirm the signature though. Also the ship painting I posted is not by h. Nelson. It has a signature I can't make out. I did post another link to a painting I bought by h. Nelson.
