ROV - Roseville (?) - Your help is much appreciated!

Not sure about this. Just watching an old episode of Antiques Roadshow and the guy said "most Roseville pieces are marked with a number in red crayon on the bottom. No one really knows why". OMG, I remembered putting a piece on this forum with a red crayon mark. Quick google search indicated that the earlier Roseville pieces were only signed with the pottery makers initials. Any opinion? If it is Roseville, what is the pattern?
