Here goes....I HAD to buy this piece. She just "spoke" to me (through the window of the thrift store - start singing).

Signed ITALY

Stands a whopping 28.5 inches tall.

I paid $15 + 6% for Uncle Sam of course...
I didn't think that was too bad considering the size. The ceramic alone probably cost that when they made it.
