Should start by saying that the weather is caking for a "cold front" to come through later today, so perhaps I should have passed up on the jewelry counter and bought myself a parka instead.

I'll be posting several more pictures later (750 cross pendant, two ? Silver bangles, Glass ashtray/butane lighter combo,....).

Paid $8.99 for this piece. I have my suspicions that it's gold, but haven't look too much inside the back (behind the pear shaped Druzzy ?sp?).

Marked M (elephant symbol) E

Got this ring on Sunday, just haven't had time to upload the pictures. Meetings from early morning til late evening. Quick lunches spent surfing for local shops. Some rest before dinner (aka hit the closest shop)....then food!!

I have to give San Francisco the award for some of the best food. Seems only my hotel has crappy food. Shame really!

Found these two in the sawn bag for $6.99 at the one local GW.

Along with a junk chain.

Pendant marked 750 and MC.

Earrings marked LULU FROST for J. CREW.

Need to check on the Lulu earrings. Not a designer I'm familiar with. It was the Art Deco style that attracted me to the set.

Don't know about these earrings.

Stamped 980 (?).

Some other info but I can't quite make it all out.

Paid a bit more for this bracelet. Hoping its a designer piece. Either way, $24.99 isn't too shabby for a piece that's nearly 19 g of 925. Plus, what did I really have to loose? I can make back my money on the cross charm alone. Any ideas on who could have designed this piece?

$8.99 - since most Swarovski sells for a premium.

Forgot to add - it's kind of hard to make out, but in addition to the 925, the bracelet is marked (symbol) 1136 (?) and AR.

Two silver (?) bangle bracelets at $8.99 each. Cool looking pieces!!

Even if on pans out, I'll make my money back. Probably just add them to my personal collection.

Great finds mj. The 980 is not platinum. It's a Mexican silver mark. Mexican artisans commonly created jewelry using a higher purity of silver than sterling. I'm off to work so I don't have time to do any research on anything but I must say you have a hell of an eye for jewelry. I read your other San Fran thread too, just haven't reply to it. Congrats!

Yea that Taxco stuff is almost always silver.

Regarding the first bracelet that you suspect is gold: In my experiences, gold is never that shiny. I would vote plated on that one.

Whoa! You are on such a roll! You got the Midas touch.

You and I have the problem of finding stuff we like and want to keep. LOL. My son keeps telling me, "Mommy, first rule of business -- You can't get high on your own supply."

Enjoy. I hope the weather warms up for you!
