Picked up a bag of jewlery yesterday and thought it was a pretty slinky bag. A few possible gold
Piceces but my gold and diamond test kit won't be here until Monday. So it might get better. I have been having the best luck on all the small piceces like earrings And this bag was no different

I saw the gold earing instantly. Then noticed the screw back. I will test the diamond on Monday when my tester gets here. But the screw back is a pretty good giveaway. It's marked 14k. And the diamond is about 3/8 to 1/2 carat in size. Not even sure where to take this to sell it??

Do you have a loupe? You can check the girdle of the stone or look at the stone upside down, front point to flat. It should really have some "fire" or sparkle to it.

Fake stones will have a dull appearance to it. It's best if you have a real one to compare too. The girdle should look sharp with no areas of white or scratching, or at least that is how my jeweler taught me to quickly check a stone if the need arises
