I purchased a sandwich bag with 5 "costume" rings for $1. This was in there, 18K with large jade. Tested the gold, it is 18k. The other rings had worn metal, some were adjustable, all were junk. Wahoo! It's to big for me but I think I might just keep it.

GREAT score, quality-wise that blows most of my super-cheap scores out of the water imo. I was never a "jewelry" sort of girl until I started buying and selling jewelry, and I'm still more into silver than gold for regular wear, but I've wanted a yellow gold and jade ring since all of that first began to unfold.

I don't know much about the quality of jade but if they used 18k, I would think the stone would be a higher quality one. Makes sense right?

Thanks everyone! The season (for detecting) is just to short here but we do go at least one or two weekends a summer and hit as many places/beaches as possible. My hubby is a gold magnet when detecting but this is how I make my "gold finds" -garage sales! This would've been fun to pull up in my scoop for sure.
