A couple of weeks ago I got out early Friday morning and stopped at a 'pre-moving' garage sale. The sellers were still arranging a few items on their drive. I noticed a plastic storage box jumbled with late 70's early 80's electronic games, a made in japan RC Corvette, a RC controlled R2D2 (non-working as it turns out), N gauge railroad items, a couple of pocket knifes (not pictured) and a bunch of 'wires'. I asked how much for the whole box ... $10, storage tub included! I suppose they didn't want to move it.
Most of the electronics work, but batteries were left in the Merlins so there was corrosion to clean off the terminals.
The N guage trains and track are a mix of decent intact MRC boxcars, a nice car carrier, a couple of Lone Star / Treble-O-Matic die cast cars (made in England), lots of Atlas track and switches, and several engines and rolling stock that need a bit of TLC.
The 'wires' turned out to be the power supply, strobes, and wiring (much of it new in the box) that might be used on an emergency vehicle. Although I dismissed these items at the time of purchase, it seems they may bring more than the other items.
