Today was a community sale here locally. A friend of ours lives there so we got to go help them set up and then shop. It was well worth it! I spent several hundred dollars today got a lot of stuff to put on Amazon along with a lot of stuff to put on eBay. I was mainly going for stuff new in the package and jewelry of course. I got a lot of everything but here are some of the more notables!

These flip video cameras I bought eight of them still sealed for $50 total. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1443910220.378816.jpg

The whole pile of stuff mostly games and toys. This was $5.

Sega w/ built in games, new for $10.

Then the jewelry- costume- Christian Dior earrings, all good signed stuff. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1443910813.174657.jpg

70 grams sterling.... ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1443910908.991843.jpg

25 gr 14k! $200.50 spent. The ring is 10 grams, it was .50 cents. Unfortunately one of the stones is chipped.

$0.50 gold ring! Wow

All of the gold was from the same sale. She had the ring on the table and I asked her how much. She said $.50! I pocketed it and started looking at the rest of her stuff she pulls out another box with the rest of the gold in it and says oh I have to take the stuff to a pawnshop. I said I can probably save you some time if I could take a look at it I'll try to make you a decent offer... She was hesitant but on her table she had another necklace that was 14 K and pearls as well which my wife kept. So she showed me the rest of the stuff and I said by the way this one's gold as well and I can give you $200 for all of it! I think she was impressed that I pick the other one up off the table and added that to the other stuff as well. So if the ring wasn't there I paid $200 for 14 g of 14 K. But I had the ring so I wasn't worried if I overpaid for the other stuff i actually only was under by about $80. Gave her my # if she comes across anymore.

You always find such unusual gold items. Most of my finds are nothing near as interesting but I have yet to pay over $10 for a gold item. Only time I ever see them is when they don't realize it's gold.

I never sell Flip Camera's that fast, but I usually put them at $80 used, $150 new. Still, great buy, great sale...

They were on Amazon for about $170 each but I have no idea if they're selling for that. On eBay they're auctioning with free shipping brand-new for $65. The buyer has a warehouse from what I understand ffrom the shipping address. I'm glad I don't have to sit on them for six months! If he can make some money cool. The sale of those things make up for all my purchases the whole week plus some extra $.

You are really good at getting the goods in and back out FAST. That will pay some bills and add to the rainy day fund. :)

Thanks, but to be honest that was a shock to me as well but they sold that fast. And to think we almost didn't go back to that yard sale because they were just setting up when we drove through. By the time I went back it was about 1030 and just got done raining so I didn't expect anyone to have anything out and the other half of the neighborhood. But we took some extra money yesterday and took the family down to the zoo and went out to lunch in Naples. So made a fun day of it

At $170, it generally takes 2 or 3 months to sell a camera. I usually go down to $149.99 on a new one and it sells in a few weeks. With 8 of them? I would have put 2 up for $100, 2 up for $120, 2 up for $135, and 2 up for $149.99. I have enough storage at my house that I am not to worried about taking a year to get $$$$$
