So here are some recent picks.

Sterling ring, $2
MMA clip-on earrings, $2
Silver froggy, $3
Beau Sterling, paid $8, not great, not bad. Beau stuff is cheap..
Coral Necklace and Earrings, $4 -- I think this is a money maker. I was reading up on real or fake, going to try the milk test or the lemon juice test I think.. These suckers are heavy! Clasp marked 925.

Not bad for 20 bucks! MMA earrings are about a 20 dollar bill right there, so the rest is just icing.

Does anyone have any experience with chunky coral? Hoping these aren't dyed or treated.. I'm going to test the waters at 4 figures if they are authentic and 'un-messed' with.

Thanks for looking! Happy scouting!

The beads look real because I can see many different one. Fake ones would all be the same. A lot are on feeBay right now at just a few $$ each.

do you mean $10.00 or $1000?

I would beg to differ...
I personally think they are worth something...
These are Tibetan Red Coral beads... color possibly enhanced... But red coral none the less.

I would say realistically JUST from a picture mind you...
$250- $300 to the right person.
Maybe more.
IMO

I also think that they are dyed. The good coral is "angle skin" coral, which is a pale salmon color. Look up 14K coral necklace.

So many different kinds out there. I do have an opera length angel skin coral necklace with chunky 14K beads. I'm leaning toward dye now on these rocks. :tongue3:

I've had similar looking necklaces, thinking I struck it big. I couldn't even sell them via consignment shop. Maybe yours are totally different from what I had.

I've sold a couple coral necklaces. One was branch coral ~$40 the other was large heavy barrel beads of angel skin coral ~$30. Can't remember exactly but I got around that much after dropping my price and letting an auction happen. I thought they would sell higher but no such luck.
