A guy on one of the internet groups Im on is moving and put up several things for sale. I jumped on this!

There are 63 zippo brand lighters and a couple knockoffs. The adverts on them range from alcohol to tobacco to military, Ford, corvette, Texas holdem, Alaska, NY, fishing, 007, sports, 3 stooges, guns, jeep, boston, and a bunch of other stuff. Came with the custom built solid wood display.

Total cost for the 65 lighters and display $120

Im pretty dang happy with that!

Great find! Any older ones in there? Tough to see from the photo. Never one when deals pop up so it pays to keep looking online.

The two Colt Zippo's should just about get your money back if they are unused. The sculpture Zippo (laying on it's side) may be quite valuable as well, can't tell what it is from the pics though.

That Houston Texans zippo would have been best displayed in a garbage-can type receptacle.

I like the simplicity of that display rack... it would look sharp holding a ton of Minie balls.

Cool score!

Oh, just re-read the post. I was thinking $65 for everything. Still a nice score. The Colt zippos should sell for 30-35. Can't really tell if any of the others are rare by the pics.

No, it works out to $1.93 per zippo, with the display case and additional lighter thrown in for free. I will get better pictures up on here today or tomorrow so you can see what they all are.

Here are the pictures and a list. There are 65 zippo brand lighters. Also, the majority of these still have the red seal sticker on the back showing they have never been opened. Almost all of them are from the 80s-90's. There is one that is from the 60's.

Looks like you posted the best one first. That horse head one seems to be a htf one that commands a good premium and probably the best of the lot I would imagine. Way to go.

Thanks! Any idea of value? It is unfired but does have little surface scratches, not sure if they will polish out or not. I cant find one of these that's been sold.

Any of the others stand out? I think all but one or two are unfired and probably 55 of them have the intact seal sticker on the back showing they've never even been opened. Looks like most of them are around $15-$20 each, but there are several I cant find online. Looks like Ill be able to turn this $120 into at the least $1000, so Im pretty excited about these. Planning on keeping a few of them, but will sell most of them. Thinking of selling in lots like all the alcohol ones together, the 007 ones together, etc. Just don't want to lump in any standouts if anyone sees any besides the horse head one. Thanks!

Man, you got a sizeable collection there!

I only have 2 zippos that I've had since i was a young teenager... A green-coated army one and a plain jane run-of-the-mill brushed steel one.

The wheel on one of them is stuck... Will not spin at ALL. Zero corrosion, and nothing appears to be bent so I figured the little replaceable flint was wedged/locking it up, but no.

My luck i suppose. I can practically rebuild the worlds most technologically advanced combat helicopter from the ground up - But a $20 Zippo is whipping my @$$.

The horse head recently sold, though it looks like 89.95 it was a best offer that was accepted so when I search price sold from high to low it sold for $40

1993 ZIPPO VASILIA 1982 Gold Plated Horse Head Figure Zippo Lighter Collectible
That one looks like it is much worse condition than Nathan's. Virtually all of the gold plating is gone on it when you view the photos. This one which is new in the box sold at auction for $84.75. I think the seller probably could have got more than that had he sold it with a BIN price. I would think Nathan could get at $60 or more for as long as the gold plate isn't worn off.

That one on WP sold for $54. I would think $60 is reasonable, and with an auction you may get two people bidding it up higher

The buffalo Wire works zippo dates to 1966. All the rest date between 1988-2005.

Thanks for the info on the horse head zippo. I couldn't find it on ebay.
