Racing oil on canvas painting, prevents a strike out!

I found this at a comm sale. It was my last sale of the day! It had been a horrific day up to then, as I had not found anything! Looks nice. Here is a very unique question....can anybody identify the artist? I just cannot make out known last name. Thank you in advance to all. I appreciate your time and feedback.

Great painting Artslinger! To me, it looks like 'P. GARDNER', but I can't find anything close online. Looks influenced by the works of LeRoy Nieman.

Found this picture of a similar painting. I believe from China, somewhat mass produced. . And the website the image took me to was Aliexpress.com. Don't know but similar style. Also they produce a lot of horse racing paintings that are similar.

Very cool. I would change the frame to a more contemporary one maybe in black.

I can't find anything in relation to the name however that thing screams 1970's to me. The frame is what dates it, though I agree it could use a more contemporary one. It's a nice painting.
