Cushman trunk or chest.

I don't know very much about furniture but this was at estate sale today and I picked up for $75. The only marking a C on it is Cushman 5707. It kind a looks like it's a newer made peace but I don't really know I can't find any information on it was wondering if anyone knows anything about this type of furniture? Thanks
