It pays to give out business cards. About one year ago I bought a lot of silver from a gut at his daughters garage sale I also bought some modern coins and paper too. His daughters father-in-law would sit in front of the TV watching that infomercial selling all types of coins for investment purposes. Well he passed on and the lady now had to sell all because it filled the back of an SUV in big plastic bins.

Here is where I could be a multi-millionair.

There were ten St Gaudens $20 gold pieces, two 1794 Flowing hair proof halves & six frosted proof 1889 CC Morgan dollars. Problem with these they are all marked COPY. Very good copies too. I paid .25¢ each.

There was some real silver, not a lot, I paid $20.00 for all and also had some loose misc things.

Then there was modern crap all over boxed up for the home shopping network or where ever he bought it. There was about $123.00 face value and that is what he offered. So I paid $152 for everything.

I will put most on feeBay and what does not sell I will break out and deposit at face value.

Let's hope you make a few bucks for your troubles.
Just a matter of shooting pics and listing. hopefully will triple my investment. my wife has been nagging me to cut down on my inventory. she is away now visiting family. I just skyped with her and told her what I bought, didn't tell it took up one big plastic bin in space. ;(

I think you did great. I'm one of those ebay folks that will buy copies just to have bright shiny replicas. I used to make necklaces out of coins(1) like that and they sold like hotcakes at the flea markets...

good idea, I bet the "gold" ones would be good on belt buckles.

That guy who bought these ain't the only one around who'll go for those. I'm sure they'll be shoppers willing to spend more on those out there.
