Nice old Chinese/Japanese dish - description/signature ID needed

See pics. I know nothing about ceramics and avoid them as a rule. This piece caught my eye, being considerably heavier and sporting a more subdued palette than other pieces of this type. The $3 price tag didn't hurt either.

Based on wear/craftsmanship, I would say it's early 20th century but my only frame of reference here is Western ceramics.

Anyone who deals in this stuff know how to describe it to guide research? Any idea on the signature?

Qianlong (Emperor 1726-93) mark. I don't believe it's a period piece.

Thanks everyone. Searching "qianlong enamel box" yielded a few very similar pieces that sold between $50-100. Will probably start auction at $30 and see where it lands.
