What do you want to know, that they can still be purchased in many razor shops.

Well at least razor shops in Europe. I am a straight razor man my self but I pucked up one of these about 11 years ago. Straight razor is much better.

I was under the impression that they were not really available any more. That they were collectible. Guess I was wrong?

So the Gillette fatboys sell really well on eBay so does some of the other ones that allow for adjustments. The one you have typically sells pretty cheap. There are some other random ones that do well.

There should be a letter and a number on it somewhere that will let you identify the year. I still use a safety razor. Blades are cheap.

I had one like it recently I did pretty well with. I think the box is what people over after more than the razor. I think I got like around $50 for it.

Sitting here looking at two that were Dads. Same year(I think), but one is fancier. Don''t have a camera or a scanner and don't know how to post anyway...Sorry. Checked, one is 1906, the other 1947. Dad and Grandpa. I'm pushing 70 so that's about right. Still no value. I've seen the older one in flea markets for $5 or so...

I do not think the box and razor go together. The box is most likely worth more than the razor.
