I hit a community sale today and inside of it was an estate sale. They had bags of pins for $10 apiece. I grabbed all of them and looked through them each. Most had one or two had medals but they were weathered. To the point where I couldn't really tell what they were. After looking at this bag I probably should've bought them but I did get a 18 K gold pin in this one. (Not pictured) There are three buttons I'm guessing or maybe tie tacks... I'm not really sure what these are..

One is Florida national guard. The other one is NTC. And the 3rd is dated 1914 UCV. I have paid my dollar Jacksonville. With a confederate flag. What do I ask for these? And what exactly are they? Thank you for your help!

Ucv is United confederate veterans, a fraternal group for those who served the confederacy in the Civil War. In 1914, Jacksonville was the place for the annual reunion, so this button would show that his membership dues had been paid.
The other is for the 154th infantry company b of the Florida national guard. I would auction the confederate one. That should do quite well.

Put it up $350 obo. Got an offer for $125. I don't know if I should sell it or auction it. Like you said.

I'd end it and start it as an auction at $125.00. You already know you will get that much.

Haha. I think that's what I'm going to do. A little bit later on today. I did counter him at 250 though. Haven't heard back it's been a couple hours so don't think I will. I am always amazed by some of the stuff. Although $125 is how much my daughter's daycare is for the week!

Nice piece. $350 is way to high. The UCV reunion in Jacksonville had over 20,000 attendees so there were many of these made. I have been collecting UCV items (uniforms, drums, flags, medals ribbons etc) for over 30 years and as my handle ucvrelics.com you can checkout some of my collection. In the past 3 years I have seen the prices of Confederate items drop due to all the anti Confederate sentiment coming from the left wing nut jobs. anyway if you have a $125 I would take it and run.

I'm no expert but I have seen the opposite. Items with the confederate flag are going up due to attention, controversy and eventually scarcity due to the previous two. Nice find.
