These are from last weekend. Had a very "high end" weekend.

Bought this David Yurman sterling & 14K bracelet for $65 from a professionally run estate sale.

Then at a family run estate sale I bought this Tiffany ring, large silver necklace (2oz) and a Cartier watch for $500. (Watch has some of the papers and the box)

The watch is a Cartier Santos. I took it to Cartier: it's real, its at least 30 years old, and it was recently serviced.

Watch retail, new is $3,500. They are $2-$2,500 serviced from nice watch shops, and $1,500 all day on eBay.

This is my first high-end wrist watch. May have caught the watch bug. Thanks for looking.

Congrats on those finds! The estate company even did the measurements for you... all you have to do is take a picture. That was nice of them! It's awesome finding good value watches as well. Except for when your dude and you find a high-end women's watch. I might keep the one I got today until I find something to trade it for down the road. I don't know I like collecting them now. Some nice looking stuff. Glad you had a good weekend and super score! [emoji16]

It was a really strange weekend. The first estate sale were I got the bracelet was professionally run, but the lady also just does "organizing" for other people's lives/things. She actually pointed out the bracelet and told me to buy it. Found a decent amount of gold in junk jewelry pile and a 12k unmarked victorian pin.

The second sale had two of the guy who passed friends running it. Looks like there was no family and these were his very close friends. They knew what the watch was worth and I showed them ebay sold listings. However, I don't really know watches well and only had $500, so I offered it. They said it was one last thing they had to worry about, were really happy and literally said they were going to use the money to get their buddy out of the morgue. It felt a little morbid, but they were really happy and it seemed like they really cared for the dude who passed.

I caught the watch bug a few months ago when I picked up a solid 18k gold Zenith chrono from the 50s for $300 and sold it for $2400, then picked up a rolex date just 2002 with a rare face and jubilee band for $1860 later that month. Been researching and buying ever since. I think I could get anywhere from 3.5-5.5 for the rolex but its so nice I dont want to sell it!
Good luck out there
