I picked up the Universal Geneve ladies Automatic at an estate sale today for about $6. It was day two and everything was 25% off. Can't believe it lasted to day two. It is keeping excellent time. Too bad the dial is discolored. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1488686336.841113.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1488686348.272318.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1488686358.810870.jpg

It's an Omega quartz, from the later 70s early 80s ? It's a TS find. Good watches do still slip through those TS inspection teams. I've got a nice collection of 30, 40 year old Seiko's I've picked up here and there at thrift stores.

It has a MOP dial, 17 j manual windup.

Very nice. UG watches are very high end. Is the movement in working order? Great collection but your storage system is given me the sweats!

yeah, I need bigger draws now to keep the pounds of watches I've accumulated. Sad I don't have an original box for all of them. This UG runs like a top.

I recommend You get one of these. The are less than $20 on eBay. Watches banging around in a drawer is not a good thing for the cases or the crystals. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1488802138.499918.jpg

Just a little advice if you ever get a watch you plan on reselling never get a dial reconditioned! It will hurt the value greatly! If it's for yourself and you never sell it go for it! There are some people who refuse to buy such watches as well, just destroys the originality of the watch...

That's a nice storage display. I know putting them all in a drawer isn't the best method, but its not like I'm shaking them all to heck in these drawers. Many don't have bands and that. Once in awhile I'll pull one out and list it as-is on eBay. I just did one last week. It was a ladies Omega I gave $4.99 at the ARK. It sold for $91.00 and I'm sending it out today.
