Guy had some coins in a box he wanted $100 for. I was early to his sale so I saw it he said it was just all nickels and pennies. Wanted 100 bucks. So I bought them. So here's a quick breakdown of everything for 100 bucks. Not spectacular but not bad I don't think.

116 war nickels
Two buffalo nickel partial sets.
Three Jefferson nickel complete sets
Lincoln head cent partial.
A lot of separate wheat and buffalos
$24 in clad $1 and $.50
A bunch of 40s through 60s nickels that I will just take to the bank.
1928 $10 bill
1934 $10 bill
$12 in silver certificates.
9 Indians

And then a hidden small envelope.... taped under the tray of a 1950S tackle box!!! [emoji16]

3 Barber dimes one very nice 1914 D
7 rossies
2 mercs
1868 2cent
Some Canada silver
1870 3 cent
1853 3 cent silver
2 1876 cc seated dimes

The tacklebox is a little beat. I haven't checked to see if it's worth anything

That's a great deal!! At .95 cents silver value per war nickel, you've already broken even and then some! I say a great buy my friend!

You hit a big jackpot. There are 3 different 1876 CC dimes, #1 Rev, #2 Rev, and DD Obv. In VG-8, the normal retail price is #1-$26, #2-$34, & #3-$40. Check those dimes to see which variety they are.

Thanks. One has a knick in it though.

"You did very well young Skywalker"! Heck, you did more than very well. As stated, if sold for their' Silver content, the Silver War Nickels will more than pay for everything, so the rest are freebies. However, considering that we get $2 to $3 for Silver War Nickels here at the local Flea Markets, you could move them at a Flea Market in your area. Folks pay much cheaper for them on eBay unless they are uncirculated or in OBW Rolls, so you might do better locally. Make sure to check them for Errors and Varieties. The Doubled Die Varieties of the 1943-P War Nickels and the RPM (Re-Punched Mint Mark) Variety of the 1942-D War Nickels bring pretty decent premiums. Also, after checking out some of the coins in the first pic, they will likely fetch quite a bit more than what you paid for the whole collection and possibly double what you paid. So yes, "you did well my' young Padawan"!

Mega deal, nice buy! Heck, you got 1/4 of your money back in clad alone, so you really bought all those old coins and silver for $76.

Thought about taking some of it to the coin star but I guess not now. Once I finish sorting through this other box of pennies I have them going to do a huge or a large weight sent auction. There's a lot early stuff in there too. Lol
