Picked this set up today from one of my estate sale contacts. They were contacted by their accountant to liquidate the contents of a storage unit & then called me. Not exactly a regular garage/estate sale but close enough. The set weighs just over 50 ozt. Has a bamboo motif going on but it's not very ornate. I think if I knew who the maker was it could sell for more than melt.

That's a lot of silver! I wish there was more silver work on the body but still an awesome set. Well worth saving from the melting pot.

A very cool find! I'd be interested in seeing what the date would be on this set.

Started the set at $1250 on a 10 day auction. Without date & maker info I may be reaching. Guess it's worth a shot.
