I had great luck this weekend at an estate sale and several yardsales. I found a pair of McCoy pottery vases for 50 cents each. I attached a pic of one from before I cleaned it. I also found a set of turquoise green antique candlesticks for $1. A lady gave me a vintage Porcelain egg holder marked Adams on the bottom that sold recently for $20 online. But the most interesting is this glass contraption that I paid 10 cents. It's clear ribbed glass with a hole in the top and a screw on base marked "wear-brite" silver co. Does anyone know what this thing is for?

Looks like a sugar dispenser. Either the top had a cover that is missing or possibly the base is unscrewed with your finger covering the hole while filling it up and turning it upright after filled.

Just a guess.

Thanks leadnbrass! You're right. I just found this green one that sold on eBay for a pretty penny! If the clear is worth a fraction of that I will be happy!
