Hit a Friday morning estate sale and #7 in line. Headed straight for the Jewelry and found this Omega caliber 351 with interesting Anchor Hocking Corp service award marks. There are repairs on the inside of the case and the second hand is clipped at the tip. Looks to be a redial and the movement is filthy. I love the 5 o’clock and 1 o’clock markers. Only $15 though and worth more than that in parts. Also picked up this Eternamatic with original box and awesome champagne linen dial. Just needs a new crystal. Both run. Great way to start the holiday week. With all these Omega's being found out there at thrift stores and yard sales, there's gotta be more out there. I stopped by an indoor flea market yesterday and the lady that does estate buys puts a lot of small nic-nac's in jars. She always right on them Jar of Shiny and prices them at $7.95. One had watches in it and I found maybe 8 crappy quartz watches which I through in the garbage and these two older Wittnauer and Benrus 25j self winding. Both have SS cases. They go in the pile.

It doesn't stay running, but it'll be good for a few bucks more than I have in it, when ever I get around to selling it. I've been hanging on to the old wristwatches I pick up cheap because they're like money in your pocket. They're so easy to turn into cash because of all the folks out there seeking them.
