Need ID Help With Sterling & Rhinestone Brooch

Hoping someone may know the maker of this sterling & Rhinestone brooch I picked up at an estate sale today. It looks like it might be marked G S. Any help is appreciated.

The mark over sterling looks like a snake to me.

I took a closer look at the mark this morning. Turns out I was looking at it wrong. If you rotate the picture 90 degrees to the left it's fairly obvious that it's a script "E". Eisenberg mark used between 1942-45 and possibly later if space was limited.
